Dark Pictures: Little Hope – How To Save (Or Kill) Everyone | Best & Worst Endings Guide

November 2, 2020 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Give yourself a big advantage before entering Little Hope. Here’s the extremely spoilery path to the best or worst ending.

The Dark Pictures Anthology continues into the town of Little Hope. This cinematic series of bite-sized adventures tell short horror stories where you make all the bad decisions for our heroes. Depending on your choices, you can save or kill everyone — and those are the decisions we’re investigating here. If you want to see everyone die, or save everyone and earn the best ending, these are the choices you need to make.

How To Save Everyone | ‘Salvation’ Ending Guide

To earn the ‘Salvation‘ achievement / trophy and save everyone in the game, you’ll need to successfully complete all demon encounters and QTEs. You’ll also need to make certain specific choices.

  • Whenever you have the chance, choose to face each character’s demon solo — as in, alone. Don’t try to take them on with your friends. Send them away and face the demon by yourself every time.
  • Make sure that Carver is convicted of witchcraft, instead of Mary.

How To Kill Everyone | ‘That Dream Is Your Enemy’ Ending Guide

To earn the ‘That Dream Is Your Enemy‘ achievement / trophy, you’ll need to make sure every single character dies. You can do that by failing QTEs, but there’s one choice at the very end that will kill everyone.

  • In the final chapter, make sure that Mary is convicted of witchcraft and Carver goes free.

If you make that happen, everyone will die automatically and you’ll get the worst ending possible. Here’s a few more specific details for making sure everyone dies at the end.

  • Select to play as Andrew, and collect the gun.
  • Speak with Vince in the Church.
  • Make sure that Mary dies in the final chapter.
  • Look into all the windows / holes to witness all the monsters.

And that’s it! Now you can enjoy the bloodbath — or save everyone, if you’re really into happier endings. Goodluck!
