#8 Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions is a strategic RPG title that places players in the land of Ivalice, a land that is very much on the brink of a civil war. Originally, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions was first released within 2007 for the PlayStation Portable and it received an overwhelmingly positive response. Now sporting a slightly touched up English translation, the game has been kept intact and released for mobile devices. There are actually quite a few different Final Fantasy video games to enjoy on iOS and Android. However, this particular installment was quite a hit when it launched and controls rather nice. If you don’t particular enjoy tactical strategy games then we recommend looking into the different installments available on the marketplace from the Final Fantasy franchise. As mentioned, you’ll find quite a wide range of games to pick through.
#7 Oceanhorn Series
The Legend of Zelda is a game franchise that inspired plenty of other iconic titles over the years though there is one video game in particular that players have gravitated towards due to the similarities from the Nintendo IP when it comes to smartphones. That game is Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas. This IP follows a simple tale of a young boy that is on a quest to find his lost father. But in his adventure, he will have to embark inside the living fortress of Oceanhorn.
The gameplay is very similar to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, as players will have to go through different dungeons, fight off monsters, gather resources such as new weapons, and complete puzzles. If you want to play a Legend of Zelda game on your iOS or Android smartphone then you need to check this game out. Still, we’re sure that there will be some type of Zelda game released onto the platform now that Nintendo is embracing the mobile platform market such as iPhones and iPads, but nothing has officially made its way out yet.
There’s also a sequel available although at the moment that sequel is only available for the Apple Arcade service for iOS. So you’re a bit restricted in how you can enjoy the latest Oceanhorn video game installment.
