10 Most Impossibly Hard Secret Bosses Of 2019

December 28, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Fight the best secret bosses of 2019 with our top 10 list.

One Punch (Borderlands 3)

Borderlands 3 is packed with Easter eggs and bonus bosses, but my personal favorite is One Punch. This brawny bad guy can be summoned by interacted with lots of switches in the Lectra City underground — the challenge is just making this guy appear. Just going by his name, he’s a reference to anime superhero One Punch Man. How does he compare to the real One Punch Man? Let’s just say he’s a lot easier. The tricky part is all in his name — One Punch can defeat greedy Vault Hunters with a single punch.

Learn how to find and unlock One Punch with our full guide here.

Demon of Hatred (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice)

While not as secret as other bosses on this list, the Demon of Hatred is still totally optional — an insane challenge that’s completely different from anything else in the game. Before fighting the true final battle, you can backtrack through the wartorn castle and find the Demon of Hatred, a gigantic creature that looks (and fights) like a mutant from Bloodborne. This huge, heaving beast spews flame and jolts across the massive arena at lightning speed.

Some players think this guy is even more difficult than the real last boss. You’ll need to change your fighting style to win, and if you don’t learn how to perfectly dodge his moveset, he can take upwards of 30+ minutes to take down.

Learn more about the Demon of Hatred on our secret boss guide for Sekiro here.
