Bust through those annoying paywalls with all the collectible TWIT coins hidden in Chapters 1-10 of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. There are 5 TWIT coins in every level, and they’re always hidden. To progress in the game, you’ll need to find lots of these TWIT Coins and pay them to that annoying snake Trowzer. He’s blocking the way with his gates, and he only accepts cryptocurrency.
In Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, you’re tasked with completing the Impossible Lair. To do that, you’ll need to find beetalions — there’s one at the end of every level, and for every beetalion you find, you’ll be able to absorb more hits of damage. Basically, you want to get as many of these as you can before entering the Impossible Lair! And with these TWIT Coins, you can access more levels, and get more beetalions.

All TWIT Coin Locations | Chapters 1-10
Twit Coins are collectibles that you’ll need to unlock new sections of the map. There are 200 total — and you’ll need them all to open every single paywall.
Chapter 1: Capital Causeway
- Coin #1: Right above the entrance. Use the crates to reach the ledge.
- Coin #2: In the interior room. Literally impossible to miss.
- Coin #3: Enter the green door above the green door that locks. Grab all the quills inside.
- Coin #4: Past the bedroom door, there are three platforms. Jump up and into the hidden room in the upper-left.
- Coin #5: Above the checkpoint between the two purple doors. Jump up and smash the crate.
Chapter 2: Factory Fright
- Coin #1: At the trapdoor checkpoint, drop down and go right to find a secret platforming area.
- Coin #2: Drop down from a trapdoor, and look left for an optional area with a buzzsaw. Buddy stomp through the hatch.
- Coin #3: Go through the locked green door.
- Coin #4: At the green door that locks when you try to open it, drop through the hatch and jump into the secret area to the right.
- Coin #5: In a locked cage past the end of the level. Grab a bomb from the secret room in the buzzsaw shaft earlier.
Chapter 3: Wild Web Woods
- Coin #1: Jump into a hidden cannon behind the first wall.
- Coin #2: At the third log shaft, Buddy Stomp through the hatch and grab the coin behind the crab enemy.
- Coin #3: When you reach the spiky red plants and ropes, climb up and blast open the cage.
- Coin #4: Jump into a cannon in the area with the wooden background.
- Coin #5: Past the level exit. Climb the rope to find the coin.
Chapter 4: Frantic Fountains
- Coin #1: To the left of the start of the level. Ride the water spout and grab all the quill feathers.
- Coin #2: Through the right door, Buddy Stomp through the hatch.
- Coin #3: At the blue quill hidden under five fountains. Grab all the gold quills.
- Coin #4: At the section with a series of water spouts under spiky plants. You can’t miss it.
- Coin #5: Floating above three fountains. Ride the crate to reach this coin.
Chapter 5: Gasping Glade
- Coin #1: In the starting area, it’s located on a high platform above a spider. Reach the leaf platform earlier and roll / jump to it.
- Coin #2: Through the green door, at the two lift platforms, roll through the crates to find the coin.
- Coin #3: Before a green door with a hall full of crates — only smash a few so you can jump up into the upper level.
- Coin #4: Grab a key and go through the locked door instead of the standard green door.
- Coin #5: Right before the exit green door, Buddy Stomp through the hatch and then drop down very, very low on the raising conveyor lift.
Chapter 6: Sawblade Evade
- Coin #1: Past the second key door. You can’t miss it.
- Coin #2: In the buzzsaw factory, reach the exit green door and stop. Wait for the platforms to raise up, then push into them to find a hidden path to a secret green door. In this area, on the far left, there’s a lift you can ride down into another secret room.
- Coin #3: Another that’s impossible to miss. Grab a bomb earlier and use it to blast the crab guarding this coin.
- Coin #4: In your path through the stone castle interior. To reach it, roll and jump to the platform that pops out underneath.
- Coin #5: Near the end of the level, there’s a long line of sawblades — just keep running and take the hit if you have to. The coin is at the end of the row. If you jump, you won’t be able to get it.
Chapter 7: Production Path
- Coin #1: When you reach some conveyors, instead of going right, go left and dodge the stamper. There’s a crate with a coin there.
- Coin #2: Reach the four spike pistons before a checkpoint, and you’ll see a coin crate to the left.
- Coin #3: On the conveyors that change directions with deadly traps, look up and left for an optional path that leads to a coin crate.
- Coin #4: In the area with endlessly spawning enemies on conveyors, grab a bomb in the top-left corner and blast the bottom-right corner.
- Coin #5: Navigate the platforming challenge behind the level exit.
Chapter 8: Windmill Way
- Coin #1: At the first windmill, reach the top and then jump to the hanging platform to the left. Now you can reach a hidden room at the start.
- Coin #2: Inside the windmill, push the wheel until a coin appear.
- Coin #3: Past the spiky ball that chases you, enter the windmill and smash through the crates on the right.
- Coin #4: There’s an alcove you can jump to at the end of the bottomless pit section.
- Coin #5: Again, run right past the exit to find a small platforming challenge.
Chapter 9: Urban Uprise
- Coin #1: Get the key from the blue ghost quill and take the upper path to reach the locked door.
- Coin #2: After exiting a green door, ride a life slightly up so you can roll underneath it! The coin is hidden below.
- Coin #3: In the buzzsaw / lift section. Just roll-jump left to get it.
- Coin #4: Grab a bomb and take it with you up the long lift guarded by flying enemies. Blast open the gate to the left.
- Coin #5: Ride the lift past the level exit to grab the key, then backtrack to the locked door.
Chapter 10: Ropeburn Bridge
- Coin #1: In the water with the big round robot chaser. Swim right when you enter its pool.
- Coin #2: Behind a hidden wall to the left in a bramble area. Keep going until you find a Buddy Stomp hatch to get a bomb.
- Coin #3: While jumping on the vines, look to the right for a hidden area covered by a tarp.
- Coin #4: At the ropes that automatically lift up, ride to the top of the wooden platform.
- Coin #5: Right before the end of the level, this coin is at the bottom of a rope lift. Make sure to drop down and grab the coin before the rope goes up.
