A brand new game will be set in the world of Minecraft. Developed under Mojang, players can expect Minecraft: Dungeons to release at some point this year. Not too many details were given out so far but we know that this will be a dungeon crawling experience. Players will be able to join together and venture through new locations along with environments. It appears that Mojang is also bringing out new weapons and items for players to make use of when they start their adventure. Currently, there is no specific release date attached to the project yet, but we can expect to enjoy the game within this year for the PC. It’s uncertain if Mojang will have the game available on any other platforms, but we will, of course, keep track of the latest when more details are released to the public.

The Forgotten City was at one time an incredibly popular mod for the video game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. After countless downloads and even winning some awards, the development team behind the project opted to go ahead and bring out a standalone installment into the market. If you’re not familiar with the mod, The Forgotten City is essentially a murder mystery. Players stumble upon an old ruin city from Rome and it’s through some time traveling that we are brought back to the heyday of the once-thriving area.
Overall, the game focuses on players talking with the various NPCs and attempt to figure out how exactly caused the downfall of this city. It’s a game all about exploration, communication, and a bit of combat mixed within. One of the interesting aspects of this game is that there is a branching dialogue system so this game will have a few different potential endings. This will ultimately allow players to have some replay value. Since this was at once a mod, we’re interested in seeing if this game will offer some mod support when it launches for the PC platform.
