- Developer: Ubisoft
- Publisher: Ubisoft
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO, Google Stadia
- Release: March 6, 2020
- Online Co-op: 4 Players
- Competitive: N/A
Ubisoft is bringing out a new entry to the Watch Dogs franchise this coming year. Watch Dogs Legion will be taking place in London where a new regime has taken control of the United Kingdom. Instead of having a single protagonist to go through the campaign, Ubisoft developed the game to have players take on a number of different characters. Overall, players will be recruiting NPCs to join DedSec, for instance in the demo showcased during E3 2019, players were looking for a character skilled with drones and from there its a hunt to track down a character with the particular skill set.
Once you recruit the character, players will be able to take control as that character to progress. However, if that character dies during the game then they will be lost forever meaning you’ll be switching through an assortment of characters.

The Disaster Report series has a pretty big following, but it was uncertain for gamers worldwide on if we would even see a release of a fourth mainline installment. While these games were developed in Japan, the ports that managed to get release into other markets found that players really do enjoy a game based around surviving harsh environment disasters. However, during the development of Disaster Report 4, Japan was hit with its own natural disaster with the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Development was at first hit with a delay which was followed up with a cancellation. That didn’t last too long as the development team opted to bring it back after fan reception.
Now we have Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories which follows a protagonist that enters a city for a job interview. Unfortunately, the interview was cut short as the city was hit with a major earthquake. With panic and destruction everywhere, players must navigate the debris in order to reach safety. However, along the way, players will encounter several events and characters that will require a specific choice to be selected. Depending on your choices will ultimately alter some of the actions and events following after.
#8 Cuphead The Delicious Last Course
- Developer: Studio MDHR
- Publisher: Studio MDHR
- Platforms: PC, XBO
- Release: 2020
- Co-op: Local Only 2 Players
- Competitive: 2 Players
Cuphead brought back an old retro classic video game feel and vibe. Designed to be an old 1930s cartoon, players went through a game as a mug who must deliver a number of souls to the devil. However, each soul would be a battle as they are tucked away in a boss fight.
Majority of the game was centered around boss fights with players having to remember certain patterns and moves in order to progress. If you enjoyed the game then you may want to pick up the upcoming DLC known as The Delicious Last Course. This will bring in a brand new level with additional boss fights. Likewise, the DLC will give players a new playable character known as Ms. Chalice.

- Developer: Mediatonic
- Publisher: Devolver Digital
- Platforms: PC, PS4
- Release: October 6, 2020 (Season 2)
- Co-op: N/A
- Competitive Multiplayer: Online
Fall Guys released back in August of this year and it blew up. This game was such a massive hit that fans can’t get enough of the over-the-top wacky gameplay. Likewise, because it was released as a PlayStation Plus free video game title, there was a massive audience enjoying the title right at launch. You’ve likely already played this game or at least witnessed it online. There are no escaping Fall Guys as it dominates social media, YouTube, and online streaming platforms such as Twitch. However, for veteran players who have been enjoying this game since it launched, the constant cycle of the same levels might start becoming a bit mundane.
Luckily, the developers behind Fall Guys, Mediatonic, is bringing out new updates. This is being referred to as seasons where a new set of levels and costumes will be presented for players and so far the second season is slated to launch on October 6, 2020. We don’t have too much information about these levels just yet, but what Mediatonic has unveiled is that season two will be centered around medieval times. Likewise, there’s a new update coming that will add a massive swinging hammer randomly within the levels. It’s dubbed the Big Yeetus, and it will allow players to either risk getting hit to fling them further into the level, bypassing certain obstacle elements, or potentially kick them into oblivion, forcing the players to restart at a checkpoint area.
#6 Death Stranding
- Developer: Kojima Productions
- Publisher: 505 Games (PC)
- Platforms: PS4, PC
- Release: 2020
- Co-op: Online
- Competitive Multiplayer: No
Kojima Productions, the studio created by Hideo Kojima after his split with Konami, had been teasing its debut title to the world in a variety of cryptic trailers. Death Stranding left players perplexed as to what they would encounter when they finally got the game. However, leading up to its initial release, the game was labeled a PlayStation 4 exclusive. That turns out to be true but only in a console sense. Since then, Death Stranding has been unveiled for the PC platform as well and it’s slated to launch sometime during the summer of 2020.
This game follows a man who is more or less a delivery guy that’s tasked with going across the world and deliver goods while humanity is suffering from supernatural creatures. It’s certainly a unique game and Hideo Kojima is one to provide big cinematic experiences for players. Unfortunately, since the game will be launching on November 8, 2019, a lot of the secrets may be spoiled to those that are opting for a PC platform releases. Perhaps we may even see some type of exclusive content launch for the PC platform though that’s just some wishful hoping on our part.
