One of the most creative indie games of 2018. In this top-down puzzle-adventure, you’ll have to navigate a tiny world with only 60 seconds to stay alive. You’ll need to discover the many secrets in this world, unlock shortcuts, and defeat enemies to unravel the mystery and lift the curse. It’s a short game, but one you’ll want to continue to explore for a very long time.

Take Dark Souls and squeeze it down into two dimensions — you’ll get something like Death’s Gambit. This challenging sidescroller has all the hallmarks of a Souls-like; stamina, souls for currency, and checkpoints that cause enemies to respawn. If you’re looking for a challenge and want to explore even more spooky catacombs, this is a pretty good choice.
