How To Unlock Pack-a-Punch
Step #1: Get The Artifact
Unlock doors to reach the Poop Deck in the opposite side of the ship from Spawn. Climb to the raised platform to find a special artifact — the Sentinel Artifact. It’s easily visible and glows blue. Your character will comment on “the artifact” when you’re near it.
Activate it, and three things will happen — the stack in the distance will explode, teleporters will activate, and four glowing symbols will fly around the map.
Step #2: Collect All 4 Glowing Symbols
After activating the artifact, symbols will spread all around the map. You need to interact with the symbols — the first one is in the Poop Deck, right above the pedestal where the Pack-a-Punch machine will actually appear. You can activate the symbols in any order.
- Symbol #1: Poop Deck – Above the pedestal with four symbols, in the center.
- Symbol #2: Turbine Room – Underwater, swim through the open passage to the giant red turbine.
- Symbol #3: Grand Staircase – At the very bottom of the Grand Staircase.
- Symbol #4: Cargo Hold – Drain the water with the red valve in the Cargo Hold to find it along the far-right wall.
Step #3: Pack-a-Punch!
The pedestal will transform into a Pack-a-Punch after activating all four symbols. Like on every map, the Pack-a-Punch is required to upgrade your weapons. It costs 5,000 points to upgrade a weapon, and it’s well worth it if you want to survive into the high rounds.
How To Build The Shield
- Part #1: Machinery
- Location #1: State Rooms – In the linen closet passage in the center of the State Rooms. Look on the shelves.
- Part #2: Armature
- Location #1: Bridge – Outside the actual bridge, on the edge of the railing on the left side.
- Part #3: Shield
- Location #3: 3rd Class Berth – On the wall-mounted railing to the right of the giant stack of luggage in a corner.
- Location #3: Provisions – Leaning on an apple crate, next to way more apple crates.
How To Get A Free Kraken
- Step #1: Get The Chest Key
- Kill a Stoker (large glowing mini-boss special zombie) by shooting the glowing spot.
- If you successfully kill the Stoker by shooting the glowing spot, it will drop a key.
- [Interact] to collect the key.
- Step #2: Open The Random Chest
- A chest will spawn in a random location.
- Use the key to open the chest. Then kill zombies to charge the chest with souls until it disappear.
- Chest Spawn Locations:
- State Rooms
- Galley
- Mail Room
- Provisions
- Turbine Room
- Step #3: Charge The Chest 3 Times
- You need to find the chest and charge it three times total.
- It will disappear after being charged with zombie souls and reappear in a new random location.
- After three charges, an item will appear in the chest.
- Step #4: Find The Kraken
- Depending on the item inside the chest (from the third charge), you’ll be able to track down the kraken’s location.
- When you find the right location, a tentacle will appear from the waters and drop the Kraken on the deck.
- If the chest contains a Telescope… go to the Poop Deck.
- If the chest contains a Compass… go to the Boat Deck.
How To Upgrade The Kraken Wonder Weapon
Step #1: Collect The Upgrade Parts
For the first step, you need to collect three parts to upgrade the Kraken. These parts are found in random locations all around the Titanic. Search the ship to get all three parts.
- Part #1: Chamber
- Location #1: 1st Class Lounge – On a table next to the interior window, next to the door.
- Location #2: 1st Class Lounge – On the table in the interior corner.
- Part #2: Barrel
- Location #1: Cargo Hold – From the Pack-a-Punch pedestal, follow the wall right (past the old car) to the large object.
- Location #2: Cargo Hold – Behind the stairs, on top of a brown crate.
- Part #3: Metal Tubing
- Location #1: Galley – Deeper inside, found on a brown shelf along the back wall.
- Location #2: Galley – On the preparation table in the burning room.
Step #2: Choosing The Elemental Upgrade
Getting the basic upgrade parts is just the first step. The next step will determine what type of elemental Kraken upgrade you’ll create.
In “Voyage of Despair”, you’ll find elemental zombies with different special effects. Killing these zombies will get you the last elemental component required to create the Elemental Kraken.
- Acid, Fire, Ice & Lightning Element: Kill the special zombies with the corresponding element you want (Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow) then collect the corpse piece they drop. Collect the piece, and you’ll have the final component.
Now that you have all four parts, it’s time to build the Elemental Kraken.
Step #3: Building The Elemental Kraken
Go to the Engine Room and enter the main chamber. Here, you’ll find a unique workbench that can only be used to build the Elemental Kraken upgrade.
First, construct Ammo Kit with the three parts we collected earlier. After that, you can spend 6000 points to unlock the upgraded Elemental Kraken. Depending on what elemental zombie part you’re carrying, you can insert it into the Ammo Kit to change the elemental damage of the Kraken.
You can change the Elemental Kraken to any of the four elements. Just insert different zombie pieces with different elements. It will cost 6000 points each time.
Easter Egg Song
Just like in “IX“, you need to find and shoot four coins. Each coin has a different color. All you have to do is locate the coin and shoot it to unlock the secret song. Here’s where to find them.
- Coin Locations:
- Coin #1: Forecastle – On the right side, on the back of a wooden crate, underneath the stairs. Look on the side of the crate facing three barrels in a burning corner.
- Coin #2: Poop Deck – On the right side (when facing the main ship), look near a giant roll of wire. Look between the roller and the wooden crate.
- Coin #3: Lower Grand Staircase – On the floor with the Pack-a-Punch pedestal, look up at the ceiling. Face the staircase and you’ll find the coin on the brown wooden beams on the ceiling.
- Coin #4: Sun Deck – Look on the rescue boat that’s filled with luggage. The red coin is visible on this boat.
