Pokémon Home Will Finally Be Compatible With Pokémon Legends: Z-A

April 1, 2026 by Ryan Parreno

Pokémon players have time to prepare for Pokémon Winds and Waves now.

Pokémon Home will soon add more games for you to store and retrieve Pokémon in.

As reported by Serebii, Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Champions are being added to the app.

Both the Switch and mobile versions of Pokémon Home are updating to version 4.0.0, with scheduled maintenance from Thursday, April 2nd at 00:00 to 06:00 UTC.

As is always, Serebii warns that the app can go back online with this functionality in a staggered rollout.

While Pokémon Champions is set to release on April 8, Pokémon Legends: Z-A was the big Pokémon holiday game last year.

Some fans would have of course wanted to have this functionality available when Pokémon Legends: Z-A launched, but there’s certainly a lot of time for fans to upload their Pokémon for now.

Pokémon Winds and Waves won’t be coming until 2027, so the fans have a nice headstart to get their business done with both games until then.
