Fishing is preset in the latest installment to the Animal Crossing franchise. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is based around the campsite lifestyle and during your management duties, you’ll come across some areas in which you can fish.

Fish are well worth going after as a few can offer gamers plenty of Bells for their capture. They can randomly pop up within the water areas so we suggest keeping a close eye out.

How To Catch Fish

Step #1

  • First go to one of the areas in which you can fish which are Lost Lure Creek and Saltwater Shores. Once you are nearby the two areas, your character will automatically pull out a fishing rod.

Step #2

  • Cast your line out into the shadow areas of a fish and wait.

Step #3

  • When it’s time to catch the fish, an exclamation point will appear, at that time you’ll need to tap on the screen for your character to catch it. If you’re too slow you’ll lose the fish.
