Tena Ko’Sah Shrine – A Major Test of Strength
Find this shrine south of the Tabantha Tower, on the eastern edge of the Ancient Columns. The shrine is easy to spot as you cross the bridge next to the Tabantha Bridge Stable.
The shrine contains a Guardian Scout Mk. 4 — these are some of the toughest enemies in the game. Like every other Guardian Scout, it uses three main special attacks; a spin charge, a laser spin, and a charge beam. Hide behind pillars when you can, use the glider when the laser spins, and unleash a torrent of attacks when it tries to unleash a charge beam.
To make the Guardian Scout slightly easier, use ice-element weapons — freeze the Guardian and crack the ice to deal triple damage. You can also use upgraded Stasis to freeze it, or perform a perfect block with any Ancient Shield to reflect the Guardian’s beam.
Take out the Guardian, collect your treasure, and use the altar to complete the shrine.
