Voo Lotta Shrine – The Winding Route

This hidden shrine is located west of Rito Village at Warbler’s Nest, across from Lake Totori. There’s a clearing with several uniquely shaped ruins. The spot is visible from Rito Village. This shrine can’t be activated until after Link completes the Rito Village Divine Beast.

To start the quest, talk to the Rito Villager on the wooden platform right next to Akh Va’quot Shine. She’ll ask you to find a child waiting at Warbler’s Nest. Talk to the child, and she’ll ask Link to find four more Rito children.

One kid won’t come to practice until she gets salmon meuniere. Talk to the other three kids, they’re found at 1) the General Store, 2) on a ledge above the Armor Store, 3) near the village entrance pond. Each one will give you one ingredient for the salmon dish. You’ll have to catch a hearty salmon at the pond.

Go to the village kitchen and cook up a salmon recipe using the three ingredients: goat butter + hearty salmon + Tabantha wheat. Give this fresh dish to the child Rito in the kitchen.

Talk to the singers at the Warbler’s Nest to get a Korok Leaf. Equip it, and stand on the ancient pad in the center of the ruins.

You’ll need to blow wind at the ruins, using the rocky numbers on each to copy the tune the chorus of Rito chirps — while standing on the altar, use the Korok Leaf to blow into the rocks: 4, 5, 3, 1, 2

Climb up the long ladder and hit the switch to drop into the lava-filled puzzle chamber. Immediately open Link glider and ride the wind draft toward the center of the room — the altar is locked behind a door that requires a small key.

To get the small key, ride the wind gust to the left. You’ll need to hop off the platform and immediately open Link’s glider. Reach the area with two fans, then glide right, exiting the wind gusts to drop down low enough to avoid the spikes, then return to the wind tunnel and ride to the chest.

  • Optional Chest: From the small key chest, don’t ride back to the altar door just yet. Go to the far side of the platform and glide / drop onto the small square with this chest. Don’t overshoot it!

Ride the wind back to the locked door and open it to reach the altar.
