The story of Dishonored 2 takes place fifteen years after the events of the first game. Emily Kaldwin has taken her place on the throne as Empress, but a political conspiracy forces her into exile. Fleeing to Karnaca, she’s not alone. Corvo Attano joins her on this adventure as the other playable character in this sequel. See him and his newly voiced self in this new Dishonored 2 trailer.
Corvo can still pack a punch as an old guy. As we can see by the trailer, the main antagonist is someone by the name of “Delilah Kaldwin,” who happens to look similar to one Delilah Copperspoon from the Brigmore Witches DLC. If you aren’t familiar with why this matters, Copperspoon has been vying for the Empress spot for a very long time. It’s unclear as to if the events of the DLC are directly canon to Dishonored 2, or if Delilah managed to seize the throne by other means. What’s clear is that when she did seize power, Delilah’s dark magic has corrupted the land with it’s influence. As Corvo hacks and slashes his way in the trailer, you can see some twisted faces in the mix.
