Few games in recent memory have had as divisive reactions from players as Forspoken has. The new action RPG and fantasy game from Square Enix and Luminous Productions seems to have some calling it a total blast with fun, new mechanics, while others are decidedly turned off by its chatty protagonists and their somewhat abrasive personalities. Regardless of which camp you fall into, there is unquestionably a lot to do in the game, meaning you will at least be getting your money’s worth in terms of content.
For instance, when you first reach Cipal in Forspoken, you’re going to notice that there are a ton of side quests to do. As your map begins to fill up with one task after another and the citizens start asking you for all kinds of favors, one of the first things you’re going to notice is that there are special cats in the area. Following these cats will lead you to one of the nine Poppets that are hidden throughout the city. Furthermore, these Poppets can then be traded to a nearby merchant who will reward Frey with new items and equipment.
However, finding all of these cats in a city as big as Cipal can be a bit of a headache. To make matters even more frustrating, it’s not exactly clear when some of the new cat quests unlock. While you can find seven of the nine before you’ve completed Chapter 4, the final cat, who must be found twice, doesn’t show up until the very end of the game. For that reason, you may want to hold off on seeing this quest through until you’ve finished the game, as it can’t be fully completed until then, anyway.

Where to Find All of the Poppets in Forspoken
Calico Cat
You’ll find this colorful little feline in the southeast area of the city.
Black and White Cat Part 1
Your next little cat friend can be found in the southwest area of the city, as pictured below.
Black and White Cat Part 2
After finding this cat the first time, you’ll have to find it a second time at the location below.
Striped Cat Part 1
The Striped Cat can be found on the far west side of Cipal.
Striped Cat Part 2
Now find the cat a second time in the central area you see below.
Grey Cat Part 1
The Grey Cat can be found in the northwestern section of the city by a wall.
Grey Cat Part 2
After this, you can find it again at the southernmost point in the city.
Black Cat Part 1
This is the cat you won’t be able to get until you’ve completed the game. It’s located near the center of town.
Black Cat Part 2
Again, head to the southeastern part of Cipal to find this cat a second time.
Merchant Location
Finally, once you’ve found all 9 cats and followed them through to their Poppet treasures, you can head over to the merchant near the center of town to trade them in for your rewards and garner yourself the Roaring Trade trophy. The merchant’s location is shown below.
