When it comes to Fortnite we recently were hit with a brand new chapter. Chapter 2 started after a small wait where the first map was sucked into a black hole. Now that fans are back playing the game and enjoying the map, we’re starting to see players hooking a rare item. If you haven’t already heard through data mining, Chapter 2 brings in a new weapon called the Mythic Goldfish, but it’s extremely hard to find.
Within the new update, players are given a fishing rod to go into the waters and hook a health item or rusty tin can. However, you can find an item called the Mythic Goldfish, a rare item that is a trophy in the shape of a fish. From there, you can use it to throw at an enemy and deal a ton of damage. Because Chapter 2 is new and this item is very hard to find, we don’t know just how much damage it brings to the table.
Regardless, because players are starting to find the item and sharing the discovery online, more players are trying to farm the item. So far, it doesn’t look like there is a particular area yet to farm for the item, but being a battle royale, it would be tough to spend too much time farming to get this rare item from other hostile players in the area.
It will be quite the feat to find the Mythic Goldfish trophy item, but it’s also a big accomplishment if you get hit by the item as you’ll unlock an achievement. Again, the news is still scarce on this item but we’re going to keep tabs on it and hopefully have more information to share about the Mythic Goldfish. In the meantime, we want to hear from you.
