Cuphead, developed by StudioMDHR Entertainment, is a run and gun platform indie title. Overall, the narrative follows Cuphead and his brother Mugman, as they end up making a terrible bet against the devil. Losing the bet, Cuphead and Mugman are forced to give their souls to the devil, but it seems that our protagonist duo can save themselves if they go out and collect debts.

The devil has a number of souls that are owed to him by other sorrowful cartoon characters. If Cuphead and Mugman can go out and collect all the souls then the devil may just allow them to keep their own souls in return. However, debt collecting is easier said than done, both Cuphead and Mugman will have a difficult road ahead of themselves.

Most of the game is based around boss battles and each can be rather difficult to go through. However, if you need a hand then look no further, we’re here to offer a guide on how to defeat each boss in the video game.

You will want to take notice that the game will force players to go through boss battles in regular mode in order to claim the souls. If you’re having a difficult time defeating a boss then go through the simple mode a few times to get the hang of things before attempting the regular session which will up the difficulty.

Floral Fury Boss Guide

You’ll face against a giant flower in this boss battle. Within the level, you’ll have a ground floor and three hovering platforms to make use of while firing at the face of the flower to deal damage.

Depending on the flower’s initial attacks, you may need to stand on a platform or stand freely on the ground. You’ll be able to determine this on where the flower is standing when it shields itself with petals. If he’s up by the platforms then he will fling itself across the screen above or if he’s dunking, you can expect that the flower will fling itself below.

The flower will have an additional attacks it can use through the battle. At the start, it will fire out seeds which will sprout stationary plants on the ground. These plants won’t be a big deal and you won’t have to get rid of them all during the battle. Just the few that may prove to be problematic when on the ground level.

Towards the end boss battle, the plant will sprout additional plants that will sprout and fire its heads out before disappearing. You’ll have to deal with the moving heads which won’t take but a couple hits before being destroyed.

Another attack worth making mention of is a series of three acorns that can be fired out. These will freely move and can’t be destroyed, but luckily they are easy to avoid. After firing the acorns, a flower boomerang will be shot out. It’s best to make note that the boomerang will come back even if its out of picture.

All-in-all, it’s best to stay towards the middle of the level to fight against against the main antagonist and the series of plants.
