The third DLC to release for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is known as the Absolution map pack. Included in the map pack is a brand new Zombies map known as “Attack of the Radioactive Thing”. Currently, at the time of writing this guide, the DLC is available for the PlayStation 4.
In this guide, we’ll cover the main Easter Egg within the game and that’s how to defeat the Radioactive Thing.

Step 1
Before we can progress further you’ll need to make sure that the power is on. If you have yet to power the map then follow our guide right here.
Step 2
You will need to have access to the Pack-a-Punch machine. You can follow our guide on how to enable the machine here.
Step 3
The next step is to build up the zombie body within the spawn area. There are several pieces to the body scattered about the map. Each piece will have to be placed within the spawn area on the tables.
Parts Locations
- Head
- The head can be accessed within an RV though the only way to get into the RV is by hitting the button near the pack-a-punch machine.
- Torso
- Use the crowbar and repair the Deep Freeze trap. Once repaired, start it up and melee the pig so that it will explode and reveal the Torso behind it.
- Left Arm
- Found within the RV Park’s firepit.
- Right Arm
- Use the Seismic Wave Generator near the hand that held the power switch required to power the map.
- Left Leg
- Use the Cleaver to melee a Radioactive Zombie which will leave a leg behind.
- Right Leg
- The right leg will be hanging from a tree behind the TV station. Time a grenade throw to have it fall down to the ground.
- Glass Shard
- Melee the broken mirror within the RV Park restroom to collect a glass shard.
- Car Mirror
- Use the crowbar on the side-mirror of the white car parked in front of the gas station.
- Hand Mirror
- Call for Elvira while she is away from her seat to collect the hand mirror.
Step 4
Grab the scantron that can be found in the Ice Cream Shop. Then place the scantron on the machine within the Spawn area. Numbers will pop up and you must figure out the number order whil using the typewriter. The numbers are 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8, though the order they can go in will be random.
Once you have figured out the order correctly, the zombie will come to life. This is when you need to put that order in once again but backwards in the typewriter for the zombie to be killed along with revealing a key.
Step 5
You will need to acquire three parts to put together a nuke. The parts can be found under a red cat between the TV studio and motel, at the end of the stream under the bridge, and lastly, behind the gate outside of the TV Studio.
Step 6
Use the crowbar and look under the desk located on the back of the Beachside Market. You will find that there will be four numbers which will require players to place pressure gauges around the map.

- Motel room that held the crowbar
After the pressure Gauges have been dealt with, you’ll find that the safe within the back of the Beachside Market is now open where you’ll be able to obtain the Nuclear Bomb Codes. Keep a tab on what the numbers are as you won’t be able to access them within the inventory.
Step 7
Head to the gas station and use the right-side garage door which will allow players to enter the Chemical Station. You will need to lay down the chemistry lab pieces within the gas station.

- Gauges – Picnic tables within the RV park
- Valves – Couch located within the back of the market
Step 8
You will now need to find your symbol number is. This can be a bit difficult to understand but essentially, you have to change the color by using the machine within Elvira’s studio and head to each symbol to find which one retains the “=” sign. Whichever has the “=” sign will be your number to remember.
Lastly, you will need to know what your m-looking symbol number is which can be found above the radio inside the Motel’s office.

Once you have both your m-looking number along with the “=” number, you will need to multiply them and head to Elvira’s TV and change the color to whatever it says.
Step 9
Gather batteries from the zombie item drops and insert them within the radios that can be found at the Power Station and Motel Office. Listen to the radios which will feature Dr. Bright explaining which chemicals are required to destroy the Radioactive Thing.
From there you will need to mix up the chemicals that Dr. Bright has stated on the radio. You will also be required to put down a number as well. This is done by adding all the top and left a number of each chemical ingredient’s diamond and the subtracting it with whatever you “=” number was.

Step 10
Gather all the supplies for the Nuke and the formula you have created and put it onto the Nuke. From there, have everyone in the game interact with the Nuke so that it can charge. Once charged, have everyone once again interact with the Nuke which will teleport you to the boss fight.
Step 11
The final step to the Easter Egg is that players will need to avoid the attacks sent by the Radioactive Thing. Likewise, you will need to continue firing at the core until the Radioactive Thing stops trying to attack you.
Interact and push the Nuke from the stream to the water’s edge. Continue to interact with the Nuke until it reaches the edge where it will then be sent inside the Radioactive Thing. From there make your way to the bridge and defend yourself until the monster fires off a laser beam creating an obstacle course for players to go through.
After you reach the end, there will be the Nuke launcher at the edge of the water, have players interact with it where you will then be brought into the belly of the beast. Here each player will have to input the code number that you found from step six.
