DICE is Bringing Battlefield 1 Servers to South Africa, Middle East and Hong Kong

February 21, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Servers go live today!

Based in South Africa, Middle East or Hong Kong? DICE has just announced that these regions will now be able to play their 2016 release Battlefield 1 with significantly lower latency. This was announced an hour ago on their twitter.

“On Tuesday, February 21st between 08:00 and 13:00 UTC we will be introducing servers in these three regions for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Once deployed, players in or close to these new regions will now enjoy online Multiplayer with lower latency than previously experienced.” said DICE on a blog post.

Let’s hope there are enough BF1 players in South Africa to constantly populate our servers!
