Halo 4 Multiplayer to Feature Day/Night Transitions?

A few days ago we reported on the new Longbow map for Halo 4 which is set in an arctic environment.

One of the few things we've noticed about the images 343i released is that each of Longbow's four screenshots depicts the setting in various times of day, from midday to dusk, which leads us to believe that Halo 4's multiplayer maps may offer day to night transitions.

If this is the case, then it may well serve as a new element—if only a visual one—to Halo 4's multiplayer mode, and offer the maps the variety they need to not feel repetitive.

Halo 4 is set for release on November 6. It is exclusive to the Xbox 360.
