Bethesda has confirmed that the first expansion pack for Skyrim, Dawnguard, will be available for download next Tuesday on the Xbox 360.
Dawnguard sees the addition of two new factions, the vampire lords and their hunters, the Dawnguard, in an all new storyline. In addition to the new story, players will gain access to a host of new items, including crossbows and Dragonbone weapons. Also included are Dragon Shouts and two new perk trees for Werewolves and Vampires.
Bethesda says that patch 1.6 in French, Italian, German and Spanish languages will also be available for the 360 next week. Localized versions of Dawnguard will only come in mid-July.
Bethesda’s Pete Hines refuses to say when Dawnguard will be released on other platforms besides the 360 due to timed exclusivity with Microsoft—but rest assured, it won’t be too long.
