In a recent interview with GiantBomb, Max Payne 3's Lead Designer, Sergei Kuprejanov was quizzed on the return of the series in-game, fictional television series, Address Unknown. He responded:
"We're going to let fans discover the answer when they play the game themselves."
Secretive as always, Rockstar. They have been for much of Max Payne 3's promotion as that interview points out (I do recommend you read it). That's not usually a bad thing with them.
I think a lot of people currently see Max Payne 3 as another cover-based, third-person shooter wrapped in a dirty detective cliche. It's going to be interesting when people play the game and discover just how much is in there that none of the promotion or previews indicate.
