CFX.RE has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto Online: A Safehouse In The Hills is now working on FiveM.

They made this tweet before the weekend:
Support for the GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills update is now available on FiveM’s canary release channel for server versions 23683 or higher.
They then shared this announcement on the official CFX.RE forum:
We’re excited to announce that support for the GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills update is now available in FiveM!
Support for the update is available on FiveM’s canary release channel for server versions 23683 or higher. We will announce on the Cfx.re Discord server once it has been pushed to other branches.
This Update Is Basic – But Good
So, Grand Theft Auto Online: A Safehouse In The Hills, including mansions and the new story campaigns featuring the De Santas and KnoWay Out, can now be incorporated into FiveM.
This is most useful to FiveM server owners, who will add all this content to their builds in the coming weeks. CFX.RE have already made prior preparations to ease this for server owners.
Last month, CFX.RE launched Alchemist, a tool to convert assets from Grand Theft Auto V to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition.
They also added support for Sollumz, a Blender add-on for Grand Theft Auto V. Server users can use Sollumz with Alchemist for the Grand Theft Auto V assets that were originally made in Blender.
Server owners should be able to use Alchemist and Sollumz to get their servers updated to Grand Theft Auto Online: A Safehouse In The Hills.
Of course, the world of mods and GTA RP is rife with incompatibilities and other issues, but CFX.RE put in what would be a reasonable amount of work to ease the process for server owners.
The Big Question About Mission Creator Seems Unanswered
It looks like CFX.RE has nothing to say about Mission Creator. While we’ve seen a listing for FiveM on Steam, it hasn’t been officially announced or published just yet.
So it appears that FiveM isn’t connected to Mission Creator at all. Maybe server users could use the Mission Creator in their servers themselves, but they will have to figure all of that out on their own.
So if FiveM isn’t connected to Mission Creator, what is it for? The Mission Creator can’t quite enable GTA RP, but there’s clearly a lot of overlap.
Maybe Rockstar is just going to allow GTA RP to exist independently of the Mission Creator, as well as Rockstar’s future plans for Rockstar Online Modding Engine. Maybe FiveM is just to provide legacy support for GTA RP.
