GTA 6 Fans Ponder The “Balancing” That The Game’s Map Will Have

December 8, 2025 by Todd Black

Showing off the man-made wonders of the world AND nature?

Easily one of the biggest expectations surrounding GTA 6 has to do with the game’s graphics and how the world will look as you go through it. After all, it’s been 12 years since the last game’s entry, which has graphics that look good, but are dated. As shown by the new game’s first trailers, the details of the character models, world, special effects, and animations look beyond anything that the series has had before, and that doesn’t even talk about the game’s world. Rockstar Games is known for putting incredible detail into the game’s overworld, regardless of where you are, and on Reddit, one gamer thinks that the balance between Vice City and Leonidas’s “natural settings” will be something to behold:

“I’m a huge fan of RDR2. I love being surrounded by natural landscapes, listening to birds and wildlife, and riding through the countryside on a horse. Seeing that GTA 6 will have plenty of that too, with areas like Mount Kalaga and Grassrivers, genuinely makes me happy. And if I ever get bored of the nature side, I can just head back to the city, the concrete jungle, and enjoy the contrast.

I honestly think GTA 6 will be the greatest open world of all time. It looks like the perfect balance between beauty and chaos. And if they include lots of remote islands to explore, it’ll be absolute perfection.”

They’re not alone in thinking that. Last week, we talked about how gamers were already planning out which locations they wanted to visit first, once the game opened things up for them to travel. We know from official synopsis and statements that much of Leonida will be open to players, and that allows for a lot of options to happen regarding what you see and how you interact with things.

Certain commenters even pointed out that we might not know everything that will be available in Leonida, which is fair, and since the virtual state is based on Florida, that could mean certain real-world landmarks might get a new “style” in the game:

“They have a chance to reference Florida history! The original Skyway bridge got hit by freighter and was effectively destroyed. They could use the Seven Mile Bridge… They could use post-hurricane/tornado damage and/or flooding…”

Like we said, the options are there, should Rockstar Games want to partake in it. The question is, how far will they go? With about 11 months until the game’s new release date, they still have time to push things…
