Assassin’s Creed Gets Another Wrestling Entrance Tribute From Will Ospreay Via AEW All In Texas

July 14, 2025 by Todd Black

We. Are. Assassins. (Again!!!)

The phrase “second verse, same as the first” might be the best way to describe what is going on with this article today. Last year, we wrote about how Will Ospreay from All Elite Wrestling got to work with Ubisoft and legendary voice actor Roger Craig Smith to unleash an incredible entrance inspired by Assassin’s Creed. The reason for this crossover was that Ospreay based his “aerial assassin” character on the beloved franchise and repped it wherever he could. Last year’s All In show at Wembley Stadium had a unique entrance all its own. But on Saturday, at All In Texas, Ospreay decided to go back to that well, but with a new twist or two.

This time, as you’ll see below, he had a different narration and was welcomed by swordsmen and acrobats to honor Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which came out earlier this year. He also wore custom gear to highlight the fact that HE, Will Ospreay, was now officially an assassin of the creed. Don’t believe us? He said so himself!

I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would become an official Assassin. Thank you to @assassinscreed and @Assassins_UK for believing in me and making my dreams come true. pic.twitter.com/92nHM2bC4M

You might also recall that when we did an interview with Ospreay last year, he said he’d love to be a character in the game, and perhaps this might be the stepping stone to do that. He’s made his love for the franchise clear repeatedly over his wrestling career, and during our interview, he even stated that he had a storyline and setting for what he would do if making one of the games. Ospreay is a man of passion, and it shows in his entrances. You can watch the All In Texas entrance below:

Now, if you’re wondering, “Who is that voiceover artist in the entrance?” that would be Tyler Yamabe, who was actually in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, among other video games. He posted on Blue Sky how happy he was to be a part of the entrance:

IT WAS ME!! 🫡🔥 WE. ARE. ASSASSINS!!!

One of the ironies of all of this is that Ubisoft’s title was supposed to come out not too long after the Wembley entrance last year, but then got delayed until February 2025. Fast forward to now, and as you’ll notice in the entrance, the game is 25% off, which might explain why Ubisoft was up for doing another collaboration with AEW in back-to-back All In shows.

Oh, and if you’re curious, yes, Will Ospreay did win his match at All In Texas, and it was a spectacle to behold. Thus, he’s maintaining his promise to honor the creed.
