Quantum Break doesn’t support G-Sync and FreeSync, at least not right now. A new update for Windows 10 added support for the features in Microsoft’s own games, but the titles themselves do not support these features. It should be noted that both FreeSync and G-Sync are automatically supported by PC titles on Steam and GOG.
Today, Remedy Entertainment’s Thomas Puha stated on Twitter that the recently released PC and Xbox One title will be getting support for the functions on Windows 10 in a new patch that’s coming out in a couple of weeks.

Beyond Quantum Break, Microsoft has already added support to Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and will be doing so with the upcoming release of Forza 6: Apex Edition for the PC.
Microsoft plans on supporting all of its published titles with DirectX 12 and other features exclusive to the operating system. According to the company, gamers can expect to see even more features being added to Windows 10 with the upcoming release of the game’s “Anniversary” update, which is scheduled for release in the summer.
