We’ve been seeing a boom lately with video game adaptations in the form of television series and movies. It wasn’t too long ago that they strayed too far off the source material when these adaptations happened. That, ultimately, created a lackluster experience that didn’t appeal much to fans of the game or newcomers. However, things have started to change, and these latest adaptations have been received incredibly well, such as Fallout.
One of the hit series that debuted exclusively on Amazon Prime Video was Bethesda’s IP Fallout. This new adaptation followed a unique storyline from the video games. We’ve only received one season so far. However, we do know a second season is coming our way. That said, it does seem like there are plans already charted out for some characters’ exit strategy for the storyline.
Thanks to a Reddit post from Liverpool Comic Con, we’re discovering that there was a panel featuring actor Aaron Moten. This is the actor who stepped into the role of Maximus from the Fallout TV series. Speaking to the crowd, it was revealed that when Aaron initially sat down to do the series, they gave him a starting point and an end point for the character.
However, the end point, which hasn’t changed, will not arrive until season five or six. That’s a good way off, and it allows the production to take its time establishing the character for the audience. That said, we don’t know if the show will last that long or if there will be alterations made that could see Aaron’s character stick around even longer or shorter.
That said, we know that Fallout’s second season has officially wrapped up filming. A new video release featuring Walton Goggins has been finished, and post-production can start. Hopefully, we’ll hear more about when the second season will debut.
Meanwhile, rumors were circulating online regarding the video games that a remaster release could come for Fallout 3. However, one former designer already voiced their opinion on what needs to be adjusted for a remaster edition. Unfortunately, there’s no confirmation that a remaster release is happening. That said, if it’s anything like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, it could be a game that gets a shadow drop treatment.
