Fallout fans can rejoice! That’s if you’re a fan of the TV series, which it seems quite a few of you were. The first season was a big hit, leaving fans wanting more. Fortunately, it wasn’t a long wait to find out production was going into a second season. That production has wrapped Fallout season 2, as we’re getting official confirmation online.
The official Fallout X account for the Amazon Prime Video series has posted a new video confirming that Fallout Season 2 production has ended with a video of actor Walton Goggins, everyone’s favorite Ghoul. It’s at least reassuring that we see production has continued on smoothly.
If you recall, production for Fallout season 2 was forced to be halted due to the California fires, which quickly spread and wreaked havoc. Now that filming has wrapped, we’ll have to wait and see just how long post-production takes and when we can finally sit in and watch the second season.
We’re sure that there are plenty of gaming tie-ins with this season, such as the Deathclaws. In related news, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, spoke about how to decide on gaming tie-ins. You can read more about his comments on the matter.
Meanwhile, if you’re more keen on the next game, we’re unfortunately without any new details. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was released this past month, and there is some speculation that we might see a Fallout 3 remaster. Both games were mentioned in an FTC paper leak, though only The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was officially confirmed with a shadow-drop release.
So, there’s potential we’ll also see a remaster release come up without any warning for fans of the Fallout 3 installment. If this game does come to fruition, one former designer of the title did mention what he would like to see developers adjust, which you can read about right here.
