Xbox Is Introducing A New Game Hub That Opens When You Launch A Game

March 25, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

This new menu will be loaded with game details.

Xbox Insiders might have been introduced to a new Xbox Series X/S consoles feature. If you’re an Xbox Insider, some of you might have had the new Xbox Hub menu rolled out. With this new menu hub, players will be presented with noteworthy stats from their time playing the game or some additional DLC currently available.

You can freely opt into the Xbox Insiders program, which gives Microsoft a pool of willing participants interested in trying out new features. These early feature tests allow Microsoft to work out any issues before potentially rolling out the content for everyone while giving you a first-hand look. Today, we’re finding out that a new Xbox Hub is being introduced for players launching games on the Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Thanks to the folks at VGC, they confirmed that they recently had the update, which gave them access to the new Xbox Hub. It’s noted that the hub will pop up whenever players attempt to launch a game on their console. From there, you’ll get a slew of details about the game.

So far, we know that the information that will be displayed includes the amount of time the game was played on your account, achievements acquired, recent in-game captures, and DLC. It’s worth pointing out that the DLC section might also include new updates or events. As VGC stated, their attempt to launch Disney Dreamlight Valley also includes a section noting the user of the recent Aladdin-themed content that was added to the game. You can get a look at the menu in action from VGC’s X post above.

That might be a welcomed little addition for players. It gives you a brief rundown of some personal achievements and keeps you updated on what new content or DLC is available. However, there might not be a way to turn this hub off. So, you might want to prepare to double-tap the A button to get into your game.
