Capcom Drops Monster Hunter Wild’s Upcoming Quest Schedule!

March 5, 2025 by Todd Black

Ready to do some quests and some hunting?

It’s already very easy to say that Monster Hunter Wilds has been a huge success. If you somehow didn’t hear, the game has already sold eight million units, and that was just in its first few days! So, yeah, it’s doing pretty well. To be fair, there are SOME issues within the game, including some players complaining about difficulty and the PC/Steam version not being the best optimized, despite it having plenty of players on it and setting Steam records, but overall, the game is good. Another key element to the game’s success in the long term is the quests and updates that Capcom will provide.

Some bigger ones will drop later in the spring, however, Capcom dropped a calendar featuring all the special quests that you can go on to get special gear or fight certain monsters. The first two quest events have already begun, including “Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo,” where you will “gather special materials to obtain the Mimiphyta α headgear!”

As well as “Stalking Supper:”

“An event quest for gathering Kunafa Cheese that you can use as an additional ingredient when cooking on the BBQ Grill!”

On the 11th, you’ll get a new quest called “Tongue Tied:”

“An event quest for gathering Hard Armor Spheres and Advanced Armor Spheres for upgrading your armor!”

Then, on the 18th, a trio of quests await you, including “Like A Fire In The Sand:”

“Gather special material to obtain the Expedition Headgear α, a piece of equipment based on the emblem of the expedition!”

You might ask, “Why are these quests so important?” The answer is content. While this is hardly the first game or franchise to do so, Capcom has been legendary in the past, especially with its last entry, which is about keeping hunters fighting monsters and doing other things to keep the game popular. Plus, with the love and amount of gamers already in Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom is incentivized to keep the “content rolling” as much as possible.

Sure, it might only be smaller quests for now, but it’s another excuse to go out into the game’s world and see all that it has to offer. Plus, this is just the lead-up to the newer quests and adventures that you’ll get via the free updates and inevitable paid DLC. Those ones will include all-new monsters, regions of the world to explore, and so much more! You know, based on what Capcom did in the last game.

So, enjoy these quests and be ready for what comes next!
