There are plenty of games we can’t wait to get our hands on this year. Fortunately, the announcements keep rolling out, with word that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is coming our way soon. The game wasn’t officially unveiled quite yet, but a string of leaks and teases has done all but outright confirm it. Activision will be the folks to do that, and we’re all expecting it to take place tomorrow.
I’m sure there are more than a few of you with reminder notifications on your phones to check out the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game announcement, as it should be here before Tuesday, March 4, 2025, wraps. As mentioned, there have been a slew of rumors, leaks, and teases about the game. One of the more credible industry insiders online, Billbil-Kun, has once again taken to the internet to tease the announcement.
They even posted an image of the cover, but it is blurred. We might just see that as a placeholder image right now, as perhaps they don’t even have the cover art.
We should be getting the official announcement tomorrow. Leading up to this announcement, we’ve seen teasers, ratings, and even a professional skateboarder confirm that they were in a new Tony Hawk Pro Skater remaster. Interestingly enough, this was a game project that Activision had rejected in the past.
So why is there a sudden change of heart? Well, that’s anyone’s guess right now. For fans of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, hopefully, this next installment delivers in a big way. Of course, now that Microsoft officially owns Activision, we should also see this game launch on Xbox Game Pass. The first remastered collection has yet to make its way onto the service. But that might change soon to help garner interest with the franchise before they bring Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 out. Maybe we’ll see this trend continue with the Underground series next.
