Are you still in need of a PlayStation 5? Well, there might be a couple of new bundles heading into the marketplace that you might be keen on checking out. We’ve seen this rumor before, but new details have since emerged online about the supposed leaked PlayStation 5 Astro Bot bundles. Here’s what has been shared online.
The news comes from billbil-kun on Dealabs, which we translated through Google. This industry insider has a proven track record so far, so most people tune into his leaks. However, as mentioned, in the past, the industry insider claimed that a new PlayStation 5 bundle was coming out that would include a digital voucher for Astro Bot. Now, the insider has a few additional details they are able to share.
Apparently, there are two bundles: one with the standard PlayStation 5 and the other featuring a digital version of the console. But both now have a release date, as Billbil-kun stated that these bundles are set to land in the marketplace on March 13, 2025.
Likewise, the PlayStation 5 standard console bundle will cost $449.99, while the PlayStation 5 digital console will cost $399.99. Prior to this leak, we didn’t have news on when the bundles were launching or at what price point Sony was targeting.
Of course, we haven’t received official word from Sony yet on these bundles actually coming into the marketplace. But if the bundles are set to launch relatively early into the month of March, we shouldn’t have too much of a wait to endure before Sony confirms new bundles are inbound.
With as much success as Sony has had with Astro Bot, this could be one winner of a bundle. Those who don’t already have a PlayStation 5 might be enticed to pick up the bundle just to experience this award-winning game from last year. Likewise, while they are at it, they can find a new set of PlayStation Plus monthly games to claim in March.
