Fans can’t wait for GTA 6 to release. We know it’s coming, and Rockstar Games aims to launch this behemoth of a video game into the marketplace this year. Still, we lack marketing materials for this game as Rockstar Games has only officially released one trailer. But now speculation is running rampant online that the studio might have just started filming for a live-action promo.
This has not been confirmed yet, and it’s only speculation. However, thanks to Dexerto, we’re learning that a mysterious production recently filmed a spot in Florida. The filming resulted in a street being closed down with a carjacking and some chaotic moments like a man wielding a gun walking down the street.
Fans are pointing out that the man seems to resemble Jason from the various leaked Grand Theft Auto VI clips. Additionally, there was a post on Reddit for someone who shared an image of the production set. Upon asking the people available, they reportedly noted that each stated it was for GTA 6. We’re not sure if this is the case; it would likely have been under a cover name if the production was going on for the game.
But that still has quite a few fans wondering if there’s a chance this project could be involved with the upcoming installment of Grand Theft Auto. You can look at some production shots from the embedded X account GameRollGTA. While they noted they don’t believe this is for GTA 6, they did showcase a few moments from the production.
Regardless, fans are waiting and hoping we finally get a new sneak peek into this upcoming game installment soon. This new game launch will be a massive one and it’s speculated to lead into a new surge of console sales. However, even with GTA 6 launching this year, we recently learned from Take-Two Interactive’s CEO that if fans continue to log into the current GTA Online game, support won’t end.
