There are quite a few anticipated games we can’t wait to play. However, easily the most anticipated game to hit the marketplace this year will be Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games is still chipping away at this title, so fans have sought information highlighting what to expect. One source that might paint a better picture of what we can expect is former developers.
One former Rockstar Games developer who has had a hand with Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 is Mike York. This former animator and developer has been open about his time at the studio. They have even been featured online about what they expect from this upcoming game. However, more recently, Mike was featured on Kiwi Talkz. The podcast featured Mike answering several speculative questions about the upcoming installment.
That podcast brought out some notable details, like the belief that you will only get locked at 30 FPS and the speculation that developers are currently seeking bugs to clear out. However, it looks like some comments were made that Rockstar Games wasn’t happy about.
If you were to seek out that video upload, you would find that it suddenly went private. Thanks to Dexerto, we’re finding out that Kiwi Talkz revealed on X that Mike requested the video be taken down as Rockstar Games’ legal team came after him over some of the stuff he said.
We don’t know what specifically Mike York said that upset Rockstar Games. That information wasn’t unveiled, but it looks like Mike, along with other former developers, might be keeping things quiet going forward. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting to learn more about when we can get our hands on the game. So far, there is only one trailer for GTA 6, and developers intend to release this game sometime this year. So, if that is still the case, we should start seeing marketing materials sooner rather than later.
