Cyberpunk 2077 received a new patch update today. Don’t get too excited, as no features were added to the game. I’m assuming we’re done with those new additions. Of course, I assumed that previously, and it wasn’t long ago that CD Projekt Red surprised fans with a notable update out of the blue. Regardless, the latest patch update will bring the game up to 2.21, and with it comes support for DLSS 4.
The developers took to the official Cyberpunk website and listed the full patch notes. This update will be a must for those looking to get the most out of the GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. This update will ensure the game is supported for DLSS 4, and with it, you will see a big boost in FPS. As noted in the patch notes, the DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation will allow AI to generate up to three times per traditionally rendered frame.
So those looking to make the game run and look as good as it can get will want to ensure you’re on 2.21 on Cyberpunk 2077. Of course, that wasn’t the only thing the patch brought to the game. Players will find that updates span PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
These are various fixes to the game that have come up in the past. That includes adjustments to the photo mode, vehicle color customization, character creation, and other little mishaps, like some vendors within the game no longer being interactable.
In other news, CD Projekt Red is still working through the next installment of this franchise. We know the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is in the works at the Boston studio. This year, we should see the team grow in size. Although, we’re likely going to see The Witcher 4 drop into the marketplace first.
