Grand Theft Auto Online Will Be Rotating In Halloween Modes Next Week

September 27, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

This comes with the announcement of returning to North Yankton.

There is plenty of hype over the Grand Theft Auto franchise. We know that Rockstar Games is preparing the next installment, with Grand Theft Auto 6 heading our way next year. But until then, fans can continue to pour into Grand Theft Auto Online as the developers prepare to celebrate the spooky season starting next week.

Plenty of developers are adding Halloween and horror content to their games. We’re heading into October, a time of year when horror is the main focus on so many people’s minds. Today, we’re finding out that Rockstar Games is going to continue this trend by adding some horror content for Grand Theft Auto Online players. Taking to the official Rockstar Games newswire blog, the developers offered a small tease of what is coming our way.

In the blog post, the developers mentioned that Halloween modes are returning, and you should see them appear next week. It’s noted that the development studio is rotating out the Open Wheel Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series to make room for the Halloween content. Likewise, it’s noted that there should be surprises throughout October for fans to check out. While we don’t get too many fine details of what these surprises will include, it’s noted that fans can expect to travel back to the prologue area of Grand Theft Auto V.

That’s right, we’re venturing back to North Yankton. Specifically, it’s noted that we are going to North Yankton’s Ludenorff Cemetery. We know that this is set to be a brand-new Survival experience. However, beyond that, what we can expect is a mystery. Still, we at least know that the developers will be adding new content into the mix for Halloween fans. So, you’ll want to log into Grand Theft Auto Online regularly in the upcoming month.

In terms of news regarding the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI installment, we last heard that Take Two is still confident in the game launching in the fall of 2025.
