Square Enix is having a packed year. With Visions of Mana‘s recent release, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and Life is Strange: Double Exposure on the way later this year, and its MMO juggernaut Final Fantasy XIV seeing a boost to player numbers following the Dawntrail expansion, the company has plenty to discuss.
This year’s Tokyo Game Show will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from September 26 to September 29, and Square Enix has announced its games lineup and live stream schedule for the highly anticipated event.

On September 27, a Visions of Mana panel will be held, along with a special NieR presentation. The creator of the Final Fantasy series, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and the series’ longtime composer Nobuo Uematsu will appear during a FANTASIAN Neo Dimension discussion on September 28, followed by the Japanese gameplay reveal of Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
The voice actors from Final Fantasy XVI will give a talk on September 29 to commemorate the release of the game on PC, with a live Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer following shortly after. This will give more information about Patch 7.1. See the full schedule here (via Gematsu).
