Fans believe they’ve spotted the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The previous game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, was launched on the same day as its official art book. Now, the art book for The Veilguard has been given a publication date of October 30.
This date fits snuggly into the window previously announced by BioWare, which promised a fall 2024 release date. EA additionally stated that the RPG would be released during Q3 2024.
As the art book will likely contain spoilers, it’s highly likely that The Veilguard will be released on the same date or before.
BioWare recently announced the official timeline for the series. The Veilguard will occur ten years after Dragon Age: Inquisition and 22 years after the Battle of Ostagar, seen at the start of Dragon Age: Origins. The Inquisitor from the previous title will return in the upcoming game, with players able to customize their appearance.
The game’s director Corrine Busche has teased that the title will feature nudity, though it’s unclear just how much players will see. This will likely be seen most often while engaging in one of the title’s many romances.
Last month, it was announced that The Veilguard will include over 140,000 lines of dialogue, up from the whopping 88,000 lines found in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Additionally, the game’s creative director John Epler explains that each player’s journey will be more personal and won’t need to fit into a specific and definitive storyline.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S this fall.
