At the Xbox Showcase, we finally got a look at the gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a brand new installment in the franchise that is based in a Japanese world. The brand new trailer comes from Ubisoft, displaying a new kind of Assassin’s Creed during many different seasons where we see the beautiful blossoms of spring to then the snow of winter and different areas with falling rain.
We get to see the amazing types of combat where the protagonist Naoe is yanking enemies around and dropping them to the ground with cool fashion. The trailer definitely shows just how beautiful the game overall is, and also how amazing the combat will be once it releases.
In the game, players will actually be able to switch between two different protagonist, which include Naoe and Yasuke and experience the two different kinds of combat that each of these characters introduce. The trailer while does show a bot gruesome gameplay, it also shows some stunning graphics and combat that will have players wanting to play for hours.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be releasing on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 15, 2024. It was also announced during the Xbox Showcase that players can expect to see a deeper dive into the game during the Ubisoft Forward which will be happening on Monday, June 10. Hopefully we will get as much information on it as we did for COD: Black Ops 6. That’s everything that we know about Assassin’s Creed Shadows so far, more will be coming after the Ubisoft Forward.
