Recently, there have been plenty of reports to hype up the release of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Fans were initially interested in the game when Rocksteady Studios unveiled its upcoming title. But things started to shift when it turned out to be a live service experience. Regardless, the game is not officially out quite yet, but those with early access have been able to try the title out. Unfortunately, reviews are also on hold for media outlets, so it’s been a waiting game for most players to see just how the developers managed to do with this latest project.
Today, we’re finding out from IGN’s Destin Legarie that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League can be beaten in about nine hours. That’s not a very lengthy gameplay experience. It’s relatively short, and it might leave some fans disappointed. Destin noted on their personal X social media account that after capturing footage for the game, it was about nine to ten hours of gameplay before they reached the end credits. They also went on to note that they took their time through the game and interacted with everything at the start of the game.
So, depending on how well you take up with the game and level your characters, you might finish the main campaign in even less time. We’ll have to see just how the game ends up holding up on average when it finally launches. But it’s worth noting that while the main campaign at the start of the game is short, it’s not the only shred of content to enjoy. Rocksteady Studios has plans to add new storyline content for players to enjoy.
For instance, we know that there is a season in the works that features the Joker. That will come after the game launches, which will add more content for players to go through. However, a red flag for some is that we’re still waiting for review codes to be sent out to media outlets. Reviews have not been posted, and for players, it seems like this can be a major issue as it could be an attempt to hold off any negative press before the game launches into the marketplace.
We don’t have to wait long before we can get our hands on the game. Currently, the game is set to launch on February 2, 2024. You’ll find the game available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms when it is released. In the meantime, you can view a trailer for the upcoming title in the video we have embedded below.
