It’s been a great week for fans of Platinum Games’ NieR: Automata whilst the release date is still shrouded in mystery, we did get two absolutely stunning trailers. The first showing of the stellar voice cast and giving us a small glimpse of the eagerly anticipated narrative to the spin off the the cult classic NieR.
The second shows the developers experimenting with the games engine and showcasing the breathtaking and unique visuals and a flashy combat system. The gameplay showcases everything from the combat to the traversal of the beautiful environment.

For fans of the original this is a dream come true, a chance to step back into the world of NieR and experience another gripping narrative and a phenomenal soundtrack, and with an updated combat system it will be a great entry to the franchise for anyone. For those of you who never played the original, never fear as the developers have previously stated here the story will not rely to heavily on its predecessor as to welcome newcomers to this exciting franchise.
