There are many reasons that fans are looking forward to Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. First, the reveal trailer was hilarious and once again showed Ichiban getting into trouble that he didn’t ask for. Second, the previous game from this spinoff line was a huge hit and elevated the series in various ways, so gamers can’t wait to see what they do with a direct sequel. Finally, they know that the game will feature some crazy things to do, and all indications are that they’ll be a ton of fun. Sure enough, Gematsu has gotten a detailed breakdown of the mini-games within the title, and they are certainly “unique.”
Plenty of mini-games will be in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, each with its own structure and reward. First up is “Crazy Delivery!” You’ll obviously be delivering things, in this case food, to customers, but that’s only half the battle. You’ll need to perform stunts on your bike to get a better score and approval from the customers. The better you do? The more money you get!
Then, there’s “Dondoko Island.” The place was supposed to be something special but has become a landfill. Your job is slowly transforming it into a 5-star resort that people would love to visit! You’ll have to get rid of the trash, get resources, build places for the resort so people will come to it, work with mascots, fight off interlopers, and more! You’ll be quite busy with this mini-game, but if you do it right, you’ll have one of the best places in all of Hawaii to call your own! You can even perform at Luaus!
If you’re looking for something more “personal,” try “Miss Match.” Yep. It’s a dating service game, and it might have bad results if you’re not careful! You must craft a special profile for Ichiban and then talk with the people who are interested in him and see if you can do well enough to get a face-to-face meeting. There’s always a risk with these things, but if you do things right, you might just get him to meet the woman of his dreams and yours!
Oh, you want to do karaoke like in the past titles? Good news! The karaoke sections are back, and they have new songs to perform! Or, if you want to go old-school on the gaming side of things, there’s a set of arcade machines that you can play featuring SEGA classics!
Plus, there are even MORE mini-games that we didn’t even cover, so this title will be packed!
