PlayStation Plus Game Catalog For October Unveiled

October 11, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what to expect.

Table of Contents[Hide][Show]
  • PlayStation Plus Game Catalog October 2023
  • PlayStation Premium Classics October 2023

PlayStation owners likely have a PlayStation Plus subscription. This grants you a few notable goodies, such as online multiplayer and special discounts. However, there are three tiers available, and if you get on at least PlayStation Plus Extra, then you unlock the ability to use the PlayStation Game Catalog. Each month, we get a new collection of games added to the mix. For the month of October, we’re finally getting confirmation from PlayStation about what games will be landing in the PlayStation Game Catalog next.

If you’re unfamiliar with the PlayStation Game Catalog, this is a collection of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games that you can download and enjoy. With the mix of both first-party and third-party games, you’ll hopefully find something here to enjoy while you wait for the next major release on your radar to make its way out. We had recently reported on a leak of a select few PlayStation Game Catalog titles for the month of October. However, today, on the official PlayStation Blog, we have the official list of titles coming our way.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog October 2023

  • Gotham Knights – PS5
  • Disco Elysium – The Final Cut – PS4, PS5
  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes – PS4, PS5
  • Alien: Isolation – PS4
  • Dead Island Definitive Edition – PS4
  • Outlast 2 – PS4
  • Elite Dangerous – PS4
  • Far: Changing Tides – PS4, PS5
  • Gungrave G.O.R.E. – PS4, PS5
  • Eldest Souls – PS4, PS5
  • Roki – PS4, PS5

PlayStation Premium Classics October 2023

  • Tekken 6 – PS4, PS5
  • Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny – PS4, PS5
  • Ape Escape Academy – PS4, PS5
  • IQ Final – PS4, PS5

While you can see the games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, there’s also the addition of the PlayStation Premium Classics unveiled as well. Unfortunately, these games are not featured forever. You will see them eventually get removed, so if you don’t want to wait too long before trying some of these games out. Likewise, there’s hopefully something here to keep you busy until some of the bigger hits for the month launch into the marketplace. After all, we have some notable releases coming our way, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, along with the highly anticipated sequel to Alan Wake. Add in the fact that we’re in the spooky season; perhaps you’ll want to check out some of the horror games featured in the new additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.  All the games listed above for the Game Catalog will be available to enjoy on October 17, 2023.
