FromSoftware has released quite a few hits over the years, and they are currently supporting their latest release into the marketplace, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. This mech game franchise has made a big return to the marketplace after being missing in action for the past decade. But now that players can go through this game, the hunt has been on to find the fabled Moonlight Greatsword. It looks like this weapon has finally been discovered, and players up for the challenge can seek this weapon out themselves.
Thanks to Kotaku, the discovery of where the iconic Moonlight Greatsword has been revealed. This weapon is iconic for the studio, as it’s been made available in several past video game releases. For instance, their previous big release, Elden Ring, has the weapon as well. We even have a guide as to where you can pick this sword up right here. But like several FromSoftware game releases, there are some challenges ahead that will test your might. So, if you’re going after this weapon, prepare for a fight.
To obtain this weapon, you’ll need to reach the end of Chapter 4, where you’ll find a lake. Deep within the middle of a group of enemies around the lake is a treasure chest that contains the Moonlight Light Wave Blade. However, you must also finish Chapter 4, which means taking on the boss fight. According to Kotaku, it’s best to use a tank build for this enemy battle. Meanwhile, we also have a series of guides specifically made for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, which you can view right here.
It’s not too surprising to see that Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon features the Moonlight Greatsword. Again, this weapon has become quite the iconic Easter Egg for FromSoftware games. Meanwhile, the latest Armored Core video game installment just released into the marketplace. You’ll be able to pick this game up for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
With that said, we have heard some fans are feeling frustrated with the game. Some players feel that this game franchise is leaning too heavily on the Souls franchise. Meanwhile, it’s clear that this past weekend, there were quite a few players going through the game on Steam.
