Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Goes Live Today

August 25, 2023 by Todd Black

You ready to rob a vampire?

While it’s true that Fortnite was never meant to be the “big battle royale game on campus,” Epic Games has turned it into a moneymaking machine you can’t help but play repeatedly. Aside from dropping numerous skins of beloved characters and people throughout history, they’ve also been ensuring a compelling narrative keeps players drawn in. That story continues today as Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will drop and give you a new adventure to partake in. Specifically, you will have to go up against a vampiric threat and then rob them blind. Does it sound like something you’d be interested in?

As revealed on the PlayStation Blog, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is all about pulling off a heist on a vampire. That vampire is Kado Thorne, and he’s taken over the entire island and made it his home. It’s your job to make him regret that by taking loot from three places:

“Thorne has built three luxurious properties across the Battle Royale island — but beyond the lavish exteriors of Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate are heavily fortified lairs complete with security cameras, laser alert grids, and guards. Gear up before you go in.”

So yeah, you’ll have plenty of places to rob and numerous pieces of loot to get. Gamers will definitely have their hands full, metaphorically and literally speaking, by the time all is said and done.

If you need a hand getting to certain areas, keep your eyes out for a Rocket Ram. These things will launch you up in the air or even put you through a wall, should you desire. The chapter is also a great way to collect items of the past that you couldn’t get before:

“In the depths of Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate, you can find Mythic items from Fortnite’s history like The Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Midas’ Drum Gun, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun, and more.”

Other things you can look forward to as you pull off your heists are car chases, leading a heist crew, and more. That doesn’t even mention the skins available in this chapter, including the one and only Ashoka Tano. Her arrival is timely, as her Disney+ series just dropped on the service.

Either way, this chapter will have something for many gamers to enjoy. So wait for it to go live, and then see if you’re good enough to rob a vampire. If you’re not, then things are going to suck.
