Batman Arkham Trilogy Announced For Nintendo Switch

June 21, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Become the Dark Knight.

Batman has been a hit in just about all entertainment mediums. From the line of television shows, movies, and video games, there’s plenty of Batman content. But for the line of video games, the most prominent titles lately have been the Arkham series from Rocksteady Studios. The three titles have been welcomed by fans, and over the years, it continues to be a worthwhile experience if you have yet to go through them. Today we got word that those games will land on the Nintendo Switch.

Fortunately, you’re getting the full trilogy in one video game collection release. So you won’t have to go back and purchase these games separately. This means you’ll get Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, and Batman Arkham Knight. You’ll either get to experience the full trilogy storyline with the Batman Arkham series for the first time or go through them again now with the ability to take them on the go.

Of course, this trilogy wouldn’t be complete without the post-launch content. It’s already been confirmed that you’ll get everything released in this one complete collection. While it might be a bit late to the party, after all, Batman Arkham Asylum launched back in 2009, but the trilogy is likely more than welcomed for Nintendo Switch players. It’s a dark, gritty atmosphere featuring Batman fighting off his greatest rivals, so what’s not to love?

Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when this collection will arrive in the marketplace. Currently, the game is only slated to launch at some point in the fall of this year. So we should hear more about this upcoming Batman Arkham Trilogy collection, likely at some point during the summer as we lead into the fall. Meanwhile, Rocksteady Studios is not quite done with the DC Comics franchise. While they might have had massive success with the Batman Arkham series of games, they are trying something a bit different next.

We already know that their next game will be Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. That game will focus not so much on Batman but the characters that make up the Suicide Squad team. Currently, the upcoming title from Rocksteady Studios is slated to hit the marketplace sometime next year in 2024. In the meantime, if you missed out during today’s Nintendo Direct video stream, you can view the Batman Arkham Trilogy trailer down below.
