This is a review roundup for Quantum Break.
Quantum Break has received a mixed reception. Reviewer confirm that Remedy does not stray from their formula, and as a result the game is strongest in Remedy’s main strengths. The story is engrossing and truly dynamic, reacting to players’ choices. The gameplay is solid, with the different time-based powers changing up how it plays out. And the game looks incredible, with some claims that it breaks the uncanny valley.
Many reviewers, however, also took issue with the technical issues, including many crashes and lacking optimization. There were also some complaints about having to stream the spin-off TV show, some shallowness with the story and the choices, overused story cliches, animation glitches, and some parts being too easy, such as boss battles.
