A new Final Fantasy XV video published by GameSpot was swiftly retracted after it accidentally went live hours ahead of today’s big Final Fantasy XV “Uncovered” event, which is set to happen just a few short hours from now. The game’s developer Square Enix is expected to announce the game’s release date and reveal other details about the upcoming JRPG.
One of those details–the game’s release date–has been leaked thanks to the GameSpot video, which reveals to viewers that the upcoming title will launch across both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms on September 30 worldwide. The date is the same as the previous rumor that surfaced on Gematsu.
In addition, there is another demo that’s set for release soon, putting players in the role of a young Noctis. Players who beat the game will receive an exclusive summon to use in the full game when it comes out, provided they get the game on the same platform.
More details will be revealed during the event. Hopefully, they’ll announce a PC version so the rest of us don’t get left out.
