The development behind AEW Fight Forever has been ongoing for a few years. We’ve been waiting for the title to launch, and while plenty of comments suggest the game is ready, the marketing team has yet to ramp up materials for the public. Likewise, we’re still waiting for the game to receive a launch date officially outside of the generic 2023 launch window. But today, we’re finding out that the marketing team behind the game is waiting for the green light to start showcasing the game for the public.
As mentioned, plenty of reports online suggested that AEW Fight Forever was basically done. But those reports were quickly run back, with developers apparently still getting the game ready. Of course, that said, it does look like the marketing team is ready to release more content to hype up the upcoming launch. That’s according to a report from Insider Gaming, which states that they learned everything needed to market the game is completely ready.
That means all the filming required from the professional wrestlers has been completed and edited alongside the materials from the video game itself. All that the marketing team behind the game needs is the green light to start showcasing the game for players. Right now, there’s no indication of when that will happen, as again, we’re just left with a generic 2023 launch window for this game.
Since this is the first game from the All Elite Wrestling promotion, there’s likely a lot of concern to ensure this game is ready for players. With that said, players interested in the game can expect a variety of match types in this arcade-style wrestling game. This includes ladder matches, tag team matches, Casino Battle Royale, to the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.
For now, we’ll have to wait and see when we can get our hands on AEW Fight Forever. Of course, when the game launches, we know that it will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms. In the meantime, you can check out a game trailer for AEW Fight Forever in the video we have embedded above.
