The Taiwanese ratings agency confirms Bioshock The Collection for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There is not much other information confirmed. Publisher is, of course, Take-Two Interactive, and for this rating it seems to be their UK branch. The developer is also listed as a 2K Games Europe. The only European studio using the 2K Games name is 2K Czech, found deep in Brno, so it seems that the port was made primarily, if not solely, by this studio.
Rumors of Bioshock The Collection have now been circulating for over a year now, but the details have also been changing. When rumors first appeared in September 2015 it was only confirmed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Another rating earlier last month, this time coming from Brazil, included PC, and last gen consoles PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The cover art to shares an interesting story in itself. Central in the cover is The Lighthouse, which can be considered as a unifying motif to the series. It appears in Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, and Burial At Sea. While The Lighthouse’s role and meaning has changed in each installment, it can be considered as symbolic of the franchise itself.
Also visible in the image is the floating city of Columbia above the clouds, and the underwater city called The Rapture. The image itself implies that all of the games will be contained in this anthology.
