Sony has shared new details on Hitman’s PlayStation 4-exclusive content at its launch. Introducing the first target of the Sarajevo Six; the Director.
The Sarajevo Six were CICADA PMC contractors involved in war crimes during the Siege of Sarajevo, the longest siege of a city in modern history. These six were particularly connected to mass killings of civilians, and managed to elude military tribunals for their actions.
Scott Sarno is CICADA’s director of European operations. While he usually surrounds himself with military backup, he will have less security on him than usual during the Sanguine Fashion show in Paris. This gives Agent 47 multiple opportunities and opti0ns in taking him out. The locations of the rest of the Sarajevo Six will be revealed throughout the year.
On the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed more plans. This weekend, they will give players the opportunity to grab their bearings, and give them access to the first Escalation Contract. These contracts escalate in difficulty throughout five stages, but give you leeway on how to approach them. They are an opportunity to test the game mechanics and come up with your own ways to take enemies out. Afterwards, they will release the first Elusive Target the following week. This target will only be available in a limited time frame, and you will only have one chance to take them down.
Hitman is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with additional episodes opening up new areas later in the year. You can watch the Sarajevo Six trailer below. You can also read earlier previews of the PlayStation 4-exclusive Sarajevo Six here and here.
